实习机会:Editorial & Research Interns

China Economic Review is looking for responsible and self-motivated individuals with good Chinese and English to work as editorial&research interns on magazines and business guides in Shanghai. The ideal candidates should have an interest in journalism, economic, finance and business education. Responsibilities including research, arranging and helping conduct interviews in Chinese, editing, and proofreading (bilingual translation and editorial content). Applicants must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. No prior experience is required, but applicants should be able to demonstrate an excellent work ethic, motivation, and responsibility.

The hours are negotiable but should be regular and consistent. A laptop computer is required.

Scope of responsibilities

职责范围

Tasks of this position can include, but aren't necessarily limited to:

-Contacting top business schools around the world asking for new MBA application profiles for 2012 and other related alumni testimonials and related materials for China MBA Guide, Europe MBA Guide and North America Guide

- Conducting specific research tasks for Sinomedia books, mainly China Business Guide, China by Numbers

- Helping to maintain databases for the MBA contacts

- Updating the online MBA profiles in time.

- Proofreading translation errors in bilingual MBA Guides and do some translations if necessary.

- Other related tasks on the books

Qualifications required

素质要求:

- Native Chinese with good English skills (writing and speaking)

- Good communication skills (email and in person)

- Knowledge of and interest in the economy and financial markets, especially economic data

- Independent and active analysis capability

- Good PC and internet skills

- Excellent internet searching skills

- Self-disciplined and able to work unsupervised

- A willingness to learn and practical ability to get things done. A "can-do" attitude is essential

- Able to use own initiative rather than just waiting to be told to carry out tasks

- Responsibility, reliability, sincerity and accuracy are imperative
